Description : We are currently looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our clients West Midlands office, working in the office interiors sector. Their clients include blue-chip organizations, schools, universities, hospitals and end users, providing products within the interior fit-out solutions.What will the role involveThey are quality UK manufacturers, proud of our long standing relationships built on service, flexibility and technical support. Our knowledgeable and experienced specialists deliver the architect’s vision through our extensive contractor network.Duties will involve:To be fully responsible for managing client relationships we have in place for manufactured products.To develop new business for manufactured items – including powder coating, fabrication of aluminium and steel items.Introduce our new products to the market via B2B or B2C route.Spearhead the development of new markets outside of the key and traditional partitioning markets.Full responsibility of a top-line budget for existing and new business and control of the commercial margins to ensure the targeted profitability is met.Become the key intermediatory between the Operational team and our key customer set.Manage our customer expectations regarding stock, lead-times and pricing.Forecast effectively for our procurement team.Support the Sales team with bespoke and unusual product requirements.Key skills and requirements:Knowledge of manufacturing customers in the West Midlands prominently (or further afield).Self-starter who is highly motivated and happy to work in a fast-paced environment.An experienced salesperson with a minimum of 5 years sales experience dealing with manufactured products.IT literate and process orientated.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:Bonus schemeBenefits:Company carSchedule:Monday to Friday
