We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced and polished Call Center Representative to join our vibrant fast-paced Medical Practice in New York City.Our exceptional team is supportive, energetic, and are devoted to creating an amazing experience for our community at large by providing the highest quality plastic surgery care.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe point of initial contact into the Health Center.Handles incoming calls from patients and the public, schedules appointments, makes follow-up calls to patients and provides accurate information.Exchanges pertinent and non-routine information, answers questions and offers guidance, either face to face, through written correspondence or via the telephone with individuals on a continual basis.Additionally, the Call Center Representative schedules appointments, maintains documentation and records, facilitates the smooth running of the front office, and supports the delivery of quality patient care.KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIESExcellent written and verbal communication skills using correct English grammarProven excellent customer service skillsMust have a basic understanding of medical terminologyAble to work in a high-volume, fast paced environmentMust possess a clear and professional voice for calls and announcementsMust be detail oriented and self-directedMust possess problem-solving skillsProvides clerical support and administrative assistance as directedDemonstrates competency in mailings, sorting of mail, filing, faxing and other duties to support administrative office needsAt the direction of a provider or nurse assists with prior authorizations for prescriptions and imaging studies as neededAt the direction of a provider, nurse or supervisor assists with patient reminder letters for services dueAssists with scheduling of medical specialty appointments as directedEffectively communicates with patients, co-workers on medical team, in medical department and across departmentsDemonstrates competency in the EMR such as Nextech, scheduling software and Microsoft OutlookExperience with Five9 would be preferredMaintains comprehensive knowledge of company, policies, and proceduresFamiliar with emergency codesPerforms related duties as requiredQUALIFICATIONS· High school graduate or its equivalency.· Experience in medical front office procedures preferred and knowledge of medical terminology.· Ability to always demonstrate the highest level of performance and behavior standards.· Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle dissatisfied patients effectively and respectfully.· Demonstrated attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and flexible.· Knowledge of standard office machines including copier, fax, multi‐line telephone, printers, etc.· Ability to be a team player; support and assist team members.* Bilingual preferredSchedule: Monday to Friday ( in office)9:00 AM – 5:30 PM9:30 AM- 6:00 PM10:00 AM- 6:30 PMYou must be able to work remotely on Saturday or Sunday from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.There may be an occasional time where you would need to work 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM remotely on a weekend for business needs.Job Type: Full-timePay: $19.00 – $21.00 per hourBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingEmployee discountHealth insurancePaid time offSchedule:Monday to FridayWeekend availabilityAbility to commute/relocate:New York, NY 10016: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Application Question(s):Are you able to work every Saturday or Sunday remotely?Please tell me which shift works better for you?Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Call center: 2 years (Required)Shift availability:Day Shift (Required)Night Shift (Preferred)Work Location: One location
