Description : Company DescriptionWe are a catering company with a small, friendly kitchen team based in the Leith area of Edinburgh, delivering high quality catering to clients around the City of Edinburgh.Job DescriptionWe are recruiting for an enthusiastic and organised Catering & Event Delivery LeaderEach day is different so this role is suited to someone who enjoys variety, works well in a small team and is able to adapt to the changing needs of the business. You will be responsible for the timely delivery, set-up and presentation of catering at multiple locations across Edinburgh.The job involves transporting catering to our clients from our kitchen in Leith using our company vehicles. At each location you will be responsible for delivery, liaising with our clients and ensuring high levels of customer service are met and exceeded. The role is incredibly varied and you must have the ability to work on your own and as part of a team. Some days will only require the delivery of small lunches and refreshments to different locations, where as some days you will be responsible for setting up larger conferences and events.This is a unique and varied job for the right person with a great can-do attitude and the ability to think on your feet. Occasional weekend and evening work is required however most shifts are day time Monday – FridayRole Responsibility- Loading of catering and equipment from our kitchen into our vehicles.- Timely delivery of catering to our multiple clients around the city.- Set-up of catering and equipment at client locations.- Liaising with the event organiser.- Providing food & beverage service where required.- Clear up of events where required.- Providing exceptional levels of customer service to our clients.- Being flexible and adapting to client needs and service demands.- Any other operational requirements.Candidate Specification- Previous experience in the hospitality sector.- Previous experience in a customer facing role.- Held a full & clean driving license for 3 years.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Smart and presentable.- Ability to work under pressure and meet service deadlines.- Have a flexible working approach to meet service needs.- Be able to start early shifts and work occasional weekends.- Be punctual, friendly, enthusiastic and a team player.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per yearLicence/Certification:Driving License (required)Work remotely:No
