Description : About Two Wheel Valet
Two Wheel Valet (TWV) was founded in 2013 to provide professional bike valet service for events, stadiums, real estate developments, and other major population centers. Starting with just one small event in Washington DC, the company has grown into 3 service areas including Washington DC, Atlanta, and Tampa/St Petersburg. We service over 125 annual events as well as Atlanta Falcons games, Atlanta United games, DC United games, and several minor league athletic events. The company also licenses our custom-built software to several bike valet operations including Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. We have parked over 50,000 bikes and never had a bike stolen on our watch!
TWV exists to break down the barriers to cycling by creating a bike parking system that is guaranteed to keep bikes and gear safe. We believe biking is critical for environmental sustainability and equity in transportation. Our company was founded on the principles of treating employees well, paying fair wages, providing outstanding customer service, and building great relationships with our clients. We are an LGBT-owned business, and we believe diversity, representation, and authenticity makes us successful. We do well by doing good in the communities we serve. We are longtime business members of three mobility advocacy organizations including the WABA, Atlanta Bicycle Coalition, and Walk Bike Tampa.
CEO Role Summary
The CEO position is perfect for someone that can execute on a big picture vision by taking small, measurable, steps each day to achieve the ambitious goals of the company. This is an exciting time in the life of the company. We have proved that we can run a profitable business while sticking to our values. To achieve this vision, the CEO needs to be detail oriented, customer focused, and an excellent communicator. The CEO will help TWV grow to encompass a larger geographic area, and help position the company for a potential sale to a larger company. The CEO will directly report to the Owner, and eventually to a board of directors.
The CEO is a critical role that will oversee all facets of Two Wheel Valet’s operations and long-term growth. This position works flexible hours since our business is event focused. The CEO may be expected to be present at major events that require advanced logistics, which may require occasional travel. The CEO will ideally live in Washington DC, but could also be based in another strategic market.
The CEO will be offered equity in the company during their tenure, and as an additional incentive for growth and eventual sale. We believe that ownership in the company will create long-term value.
