The Commercial Manager is responsible for developing the growth strategy and driving performance in Middle East export markets and managing distributors, enabling sustainable growth across the region. This role is a critical link between Cluster Franchise Head and Third Party Partner.
Major Accountabilities :
Lead and develop the strategy for export markets.
Work closely with Distributors to understand market dynamics, insights and collect channel distribution information, supporting the Franchise Head or Franchise Commercial Head and Marketing team to develop tailor strategies.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and Distributors to manage, support and develop the operational Distributor(s) performance across the markets.
Assess and prioritize Distributor needs, when developing franchise strategy and operational plans.
Guide and support Marketing strategy implementation
Lead initiatives to strengthen the Franchise business by developing an excellence-oriented and customer-focused culture, fostering innovation, and building best-in-class third-party partnership that fully exploit all market opportunities.
Support operation with major Cluster Key Accounts and Healthcare Organizations.
Report on competitive intelligence activities shared by the Distributor to ensure Marketing strategy aligned with needs.
Manage day-to-day commercial operations with smaller markets / Distributors and/or dispersed markets across broader geography.
Guarantee and follow-up on Distributor’s training level and needs, supporting the upscaling knowledge of Distributors associates – via Alcon GEM Training Plan.
Job requirements :
– Education : University degree in bioscience or optometry or
– Languages : Fluency in english and arabic is a must.
– Experience : More than 10 years’ experience in sales and marketing leadership and distributor management in the healthcare industry.
Strong relationships with KOLs, key accounts and customers.
Strong results orientation, and willingness to have extensive involvement in Region / Country strategic Business operations.
Excellent persuasive and influencing skills.
