Description : The Global Leadership Network is a community that is committed to learning from each other and using our influence to accomplish God’s purposes on earth.
Purpose: To find, curate, and develop fresh, actionable and inspiring leadership development content for the Global Leadership Network Platforms—including: The Global Leadership Summit, GLSNext Events, podcasts, GLS app, GLN website, Team Edition, etc. To primarily take leadership with podcast content development with producer, speakers, and Marketing to create and execute the distribution of content, and to take leadership for cross-functional team building relationships, vetting, and presenting.
Primary Responsibilities: To lead content development for GLN platforms (starting with the podcast), and lead the Speaker Selection process by identifying, curating and leading cross-functional team for yearly GLN event needs.
Hybrid Work Plan: All GLN positions will have a hybrid schedule which includes working at home on Monday and Friday, and being in the office Tuesday-Thursday each week.
Content Acquisition ~ 85% of Time
GLS Podcast Content Development
Collaborate with Podcast Producer (and podcast team) to set content direction and integration with GLN Content Marketing Strategy
Responsible for designing content for podcast with both interviewer(s) and guest(s) and ensuring content is applicable for global audience.
Responsible to guide content design and process during taping of podcast in collaboration with producer
Responsible for overseeing the content edit for the video in Frame.i.o.
Responsible for writing show notes including Q & A
Responsible for Metadata (17 fields including description, title, etc.)
GLN Video Content Development (App, GLN Website, LeaderPass, Team Edition, Social Media, YouTube, GLSNext Event content, Launch Event content, Debrief Event content, international-created content)
Collaborate with Marketing point person to set content direction and integration with GLN Content Marketing Strategy
Responsible for designing content questions for all platforms in collaboration with marketing and ensuring content is applicable for global audience
Responsible for overseeing the content edit for the videos in Frame.i.o.
Responsible for writing team process times
Responsible for Metadata (17 fields including description, title, etc.)
Review, edit, and create metadata for any international-created content
Article/Blog Content Development
Collaborate with Marketing point person and Media point person to set content direction, integration with GLN Content Marketing Strategy and LeaderPass strategy, and how many articles are required per month
Responsible for designing content for article/blog posts with guest blogger/speaker and ensuring content is applicable for global audience.
Responsible for overseeing delivery of final article/blog post
Responsible for Metadata (17 fields including description, title, etc.)
GLN Event Speaker Content Development (GLSNext Events, Launch Event, Debrief Event)
Collaborate with Senior Content Director to set content direction
Responsible for speaker recommendations for all events
Collaborate with Executive Producer to confirm speaker and contract
Responsible for designing content for event with speaker(s)
Responsible to guide content design and process during taping or LIVE event with producer and/or Senior Content Development director
Responsible for overseeing the content edit if needed
Responsible for writing content title and description including team process
Responsible for Metadata (17 fields including description, title, etc.)
GLS Summit Content Prep and Team Edition
Collaborate with Senior Content Director to which speaker(s) determine speaker/interview and ensuring content is applicable for global audience
Responsible for content design and/or interview design with speaker in collaboration with Senior Content Development director
Responsible for speaker video edit (If needed)
Maybe responsible for speaker graphics, and team edition process tool
Responsible for writing content title and description in collaboration with Marketing Responsible for Metadata (17 fields including description, title, etc.)
Content Research, and Vetting ~ 10% of Time
Responsibility for leading the cross functional team (including cross-functional meeting presentation, overseeing invite diversity, and networking with critical players)
Discover and vet potential Summit speakers (and other GLN events) to continue to create a speaker pipeline; which would include but is not limited to: publication houses, podcasts, conferences, universities, top lists, host site leaders, etc.
Create engaging Speaker Presentations for Cross Functional speaker selection meetings
Other ~ 5%
Develop strong relationships and idea exchanges between content and International, Publishing, Producers, Marketing, GLN Leadership and Willow Creek Community Church.
Collaborate with teammates to create a healthy team
Qualifications
Education, Experience, Skills & Knowledge:
Bachelor degree preferred
Must have Leadership Summit experience
Ability to identify compelling leadership content
Ability to identify compelling speakers
Knowledge of Summit Customer
Effective Collaboration and Conflict resolution skills
