At Eni, we are looking for a Crude Trading Analyst within ETB in London. You will be responsible for contributing to the development and execution of the trading strategy of the Global Crude Trading team within ETB.

Eni’s trading of crude oil and oil products is managed by Eni Trade and Biofuels (ETB), representing a global center of excellence for Eni’s trading and commodity risk management activities. ETB is headquartered in Rome, with the main trading floor in London and offices in Houston, Singapore and Moscow. ETB is responsible for generating additional revenue for the company through the marketing of Eni’s global production of Crude Oil and NGLs, the supply of crude oil and feedstocks to Eni’s refinery system, the supply of products to Eni’s marketing businesses and the export of surplus products and blend stocks. In carrying out this role ETB trades the full range of physical crude oil grades, physical oil products and their financial derivatives. The close integration with Eni’s Production, Refining, Chemicals and Marketing assets enables ETB to create value for the company through the capture of additional business opportunities and focused risk management around the assets.
As a member of Portfolio Management & Trading at ETB will be responsible for:
Market analysis (supply and demand, global arbitrage, margins).
Internal reporting on trading activity.
Daily update of key market tracking information
Arb and Crack calculations.
Tracking refinery turnarounds.
Risk management and market monitoring, as instructed and guided by traders
Liaising with crude traders in Houston and Singapore as well as products trading desks
Working with the Shipping, Chartering and Operations Departments Analyzing of market data in order to help develop and execute trades.
Data entry for cargo purchases and sales, hedges, freight and logistics costs, purchase and sales prices and additional costs related to each transaction.
Data entry of derivatives transactions
Cargo Tracking – set up, maintain and improve a “cargo tracking” excel sheet (vessels b/l, destination, ws rate.)
Consulting with Middle Office for P&L reconciliation.
This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements:
University Degree in a Quantitative Studies (Engineering, Math’s, Statistics, Physics, or IT)
Strong mathematics and programming skills and Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Understanding of trading concepts and energy sector
