Description : An exciting opportunity has arisen for a well-organised and self-motivated individual to join the Medicine division for 6 months as our Data Quality & Assurance Lead.The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust is committed to excellent data quality for all patient pathways. All patients are recorded on our electronic patient system knows as “COSMIC” and to manage each patient’s journey from referral to treatment, we need to ensure that data is entered accurately in a timely and efficient manner.You will be working to improve the quality of data on our patient administration system and work with the healthcare group to produce reports on data quality issues. The post would suit individuals who are confident in the use of Microsoft Office and have a good working knowledge of Patient Administration Systems, and associated operational processes in outpatients and inpatient care, but NHS experience is not essential.Knowledge of COSMIC would be an advantage and a sound understanding of the Referral to Treatment Standard.The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (PAHT) provides a full range of general acute, outpatient and diagnostic services at The Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow, the Herts and Essex Hospital in Bishop’s Stortford, and St Margaret’s Hospital in Epping.We employ 3,500 staff and serve a local population of around 350,000 people living in west Essex and east Hertfordshire, centred on the M11 corridor and the towns of Harlow, Bishop’s Stortford and Epping.
