Description : This exciting role sits within the newly formed Brands team within C&H which was formed to deliver significant sales and profit through the introduction of external brands in new and existing categories.
You will be working on innovative new ways to incorporate new business models and processes into M&S’s existing business as usual processes and supporting where new development of systems and processes are required.
The brand-facing role will require you to engage with external Brand partners and internal stakeholders across a wide variety of work streams to deliver results.
Our aim is to become a retailer that Brands want to work with, with a great reputation in the industry. – We want to be efficient in our processes and provides timely, accurate and relevant information. You will be pivotal in helping us define what is key to deliver this aim and help us implement and continually improve.
This role is best suited to candidates who have a proven track record in commercial and operational roles in Retail both in stores and the support centre. Specific experience working in a retailer with external Brands or in a Brand working with a variety of retailers is a requirement
Experience working on Dropship and/or marketplace implementation is also preferred, but not vital.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the development of business aligned, customer centric propositions that deliver business goals and targets
Day to Day ownershipWorking to support the various brand partners through integration, managing the process from training, going live and beyond. These partners will be across our retail, .com, international, wholesale, consignment, concession, agency, services, Dropship, and curated marketplace models as we grow and develop.
Will be vital to support brands with new processes, improving existing processes and in new Tech developments.
Supporting the requirement of a Service Hub to give our Brand partners accurate and up to date information.Supporting the requirements & developments of stock loss and Soiled & Damaged processes.Supporting the requirements of with invoicing developments to brand partners.Developing vendor and product onboarding processes and providing training to the brand partners to streamline this process.Reporting externally to the partners on the delivery of their productsWorking with Brand acquiring team on suitable KPI’s for partners and working on an ongoing basis to support partners to improve their scoresTrouble shooting stock inaccuracies in the network & working to improve practiceSupporting the requirements of reporting and delivering training to partners
Delivering improved process and ways of working
Support in the End-to-End delivery and integration of Brands, ensuring we are aligned across all our functions.
Active relationships and collaborative working with relevant internal areas and ownership of external business partners.
Supporting development of new capabilities for M&SAssist in the formulation and delivery of the overall Brands StrategyDevelopment of business-aligned, customer-centric propositions that deliver business goals and targetsUndertake trials/pilots, review findings & results and make recommendationsSupporting on development of M&S processes to enable to development of new business models such as Consignment and Dropship.Working closely with our Brands Technology team to deliver the future system requirements from a business perspective – gaining insight into agile ways of working and product ownership.Support User Acceptance Testing on new tech developments related to Brand partnersSupport training development and training for external Brands on new tech developments
