We will consider people with a background in general engineering.
We are looking for an equipment engineer who is a self-starter with the ability to travel across our North and West Kent sites. You will also be required to have knowledge about the repairing and service needed across the wide range of dental equipment we have available.
To be responsible for operational maintenance and servicing for dental equipment installed within commissioned Medway Community Healthcare (MCH) dental sites. Predominantly, this role involves working unsupervised across all locations supported by senior management within the dental service and organisation.

Additional responsibility will include an active role for:
Developing equipment.
Maintenance and validation contracts within the service. This will require exceptional knowledge associated with relevant HTM policies in order to safeguard all service users.
Monitoring of all contractors working at MCH sites to ensure that they adhere to local policy and procedures when conducting their contracted remit.
Suitable equipment training to be delivered to Community Dental and Dentaline teams, in particular for new equipment installed within clinic upgrades.
Manage and maintain the service equipment schedules
Ensure that the service asset register is kept up to date on a daily basis.
