Job Summary:
The Director of Supply Chain is responsible for the continuous evolution and execution of the Supply Chain strategy for Raytheon Saudi Arabia (RTN SA) and Raytheon Emirates (REL). This position will be accountable for leading and managing Supply Chain activities across both countries and is accountable for maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Supply Chain function to meet their strategic objectives.
The Director of Supply Chain contributes to local business performance by partnering with the Mission Areas, and all RMD and local functions, to deliver supply chain management support across Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates and to establish a path to a sustainable supply chain capability that is representative of the full breadth of Raytheon capabilities.
The Director, Supply Chain is responsible for the development and implementation of local supply chain policies and procedures, consistent with RMD and corporate level policies, to deliver an efficient and effective supply chain service in KSA and UAE.
The Director of Supply Chain reports to the Chief Executive of RTN SA and REL and functionally to the RMD Senior Director Supply Chain.
Responsibilities to anticipate:
Supporting the development and execution of the KSA and UAE supply chain strategy and work across functional teams to deploy these for KSA and UAE, to meet performance goals (cost, schedule, Quality), growth targets, and customer satisfaction metrics.
Provisioning of supply chain subject matter expertise to ensure the proper and effective execution of Supply chain activities across RMD business in KSA and UAE.
Advise and guide on supply chain matters and related program requirements and company policies and procedures.
Coordinating and controlling of the flow of materials and services to meet local program requirements, including inventory control and distribution (i.e shipping & receipting).
Supporting financial management associated with supply chain activities (i.e. Budgets, material forecasts, etc).
Supports procurement activities, commodity management, inventory, distribution, and subcontract management processes (i.e. supplier performance, metrics, etc).
Working across functional teams to develop and deploy Supply chain governance arrangements, including effective supplier due diligence, RESA activities, and supply chain business systems, ensuring that these are aligned with company functional requirements.
Developing, maintaining, and analyzing and advising on supply chain metrics to support continuous improvement initiatives, cost effective outcomes, and financial savings and productivity improvements.
Maintaining liaison between the company, its customers, subcontractors and suppliers, including participation in performance reviews, including Program Management and EAC Reviews.
Contributing to the development and maintenance of related management information systems, including ensuring all supplier agreements are included in appropriate databases, and that such databases are regularly reviewed for currency and accuracy.
Developing and maintaining partner relationship with key suppliers to enable the execution of industrialization goals and strategies.
Qualifications you must have:
14+ years of experience in progressively responsible leadership positions.
Bachelor’s Degree in related field
Familiarity with the procurement practices, laws, regulations and policies of KSA, UAE and of the US Government.
Experience collaborating through established Raytheon practices and capabilities across all businesses.
Demonstrated experience in program supply chain operations and financial management, including material requirements planning and supplier relationship management, source selection, & supplier due diligence.
Demonstrated experience in planning and management of inventory management and distribution requirements.
Demonstrated experience in development and implementation of business strategies.
Demonstrated experience supporting customer requirements and meeting time critical deadlines.
Demonstrated high ethical standards and discretion in dealing with sensitive matters.
Track record of inclusive talent development and mentorship that results in improved business performance and growth opportunities for employees.
Acute listening skills with the ability to efficiently sort important facts, demonstrating sound judgment and effective decision making.
Qualifications we value:
