Description : The Planning and Analytics Office (PAO) is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive individual to join the Impact Evaluation Team. PAO’s remit includes HE sector data and statistics; statutory returns and institutional data and analytics, including KPIs.
The role sits within the Impact Evaluation Team which is responsible for overseeing and supporting the delivery of activities to support the University’s Access and Participation Plan (APP). A key part of this includes collecting and collating the activity data for impact evaluation, and then analysing and reporting on it.
You will contribute to the delivery of a cost-effective and efficient impact evaluation service for the University’s APP. You will have an in-depth knowledge of collecting and collating data for impact evaluation or similar, along with a commitment to widening participation.
Based on the main University campus, you will have excellent attention to detail and a focus on accuracy and completeness. Duties include data collection and analysis, carrying out quantitative and qualitative research and inputting data into the Higher Education Access Tracker (HEAT) database.
You will be able to develop and maintain effective relationships across the university and with external partners and this is a key part of the role. Collaborating and co-ordinating will enable the joint outcomes that contribute to the planning and delivery of successful impact evaluation. In addition, you will be responsible for supporting the creation of analytical and evaluation reports for the University’s key stakeholders and the Office for Students.
You will be well organised, with the ability to prioritise a varied array of tasks, and a team player who enjoys working to achieve joint priorities and objectives.
You are required to have educational attainment at further education level (or demonstrable, equivalent experience).
This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis. Some flexible working hours may be required.
This role will require an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check.
