Summary of role:
Growth: Play a leading role in creating and managing a plan to achieve sustainable, profitable growth and market share in core and emerging markets
Member centricity: Align and drive the organization around a compelling vision of member and student centricity. Leverage data and analytics to create highly personalized digital and in-person experiences
Capability building: Transform and develop robust marketing and communication capabilities (e.g., technology fluency, data analytics and customer insights) to equip the organization to deliver world-class experiences and compete for member’s hearts and minds
Brand builder: Serve as a chief brand builder and steward for the organization working closely with the senior leadership by creating and telling compelling stories and engaging members, students and firms and employers to participate
New propositions and offerings: Drive innovation and lead new proposition development and their corresponding revenue plans by teaming with the market facing and regional leaders to understand needs and pain points and define capability requirements for our digital platform
Digital platform: Responsible for driving and transforming marketing and engagement excellence (i.e., B2B, B2C, B2U) for all facets of the organization. This includes membership and products and services, customer/ member experience and market facing digital platform development in collaboration with their fellow SLT colleagues and strategic partners including under managed services agreements.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Lead marketing and experience for the organization for all segments including B2C, B2B and B2U with responsibility to promote marketing and engagement excellence. Develop key partnership relationships with fellow senior leaders and broader organizational leaders to understand needs and drive alignment to overall organization strategy and how member experience and marketing team supportsLead the Customer/Member experience across all segments with responsibility for developing and executing a holistic member experience vision, journey and understanding, ensuring that all market facing activities are enabled by a clear view of an improved experience today and in the future including push/pull/social and in-person channels.Accountable for leading the Go To Market pipeline and processes to understand marketplace and member needs/pain points and provide inputs to inform the development of Content, Products, and Services. Ensures the Go to Market process assesses market priorities, determines segmentation needs, determines investment levels, informs brand plans, aligns to strategic objectives, and ultimately enables transformation of the profession and achievement of revenue goals.Leads global marketing including developing propositions and programs that are localized in the markets and inspiring them to develop, deliver and embed a clearly defined and differentiated brand and proposition strategy to drive value and growth.Primary Global Engagement Center lead, with responsibility for managing and transforming the team to a value center and best use digital technology, become an outbound sales and service organization and to reflect to the future needs and location or our members.Accountable for the market, Member and Profession facing experience and corresponding platforms. Responsible for working with the rest of the SLT, key strategic partners and IT to ensure that these are integrated with and aligned to the appropriate data, security and other requirements of the Association.Accountable for a global capability for customer led innovation and data driven insights, including input to existing products and offerings innovation (sustaining, adjacent and disruptive) and new business model innovation. Accountable for marketing data analytics, web operations, app operations, and customer behavior and activity tracking across available resources.Accountable for defining, managing and delivering global marketing services, technology and tools including but not limited to the marketing automation solutions, digital marketing tools and CRM solution.Primary lead for managed services agreement and partnership for Marketing Operations ensuring successful delivery and service level agreements are met. Manage the strategic partner relationship to ensure alignment to overall MMX strategy and growth plans are achievedPrimary lead for establishing a global brand strategy, roadmap and architecture for the Association’s brands (owned and associated). Partnering with VP, Content and Communications and EVP, Reputation to gain alignment behind the brand vision, the global brand strategy and brand value targets.Accountable for global commercial pricing across all products and services including membership to drive growth and profitability

Required Experience, Qualifications & Education
Degree level education10+ years of relevant work experience in leadership roles with operational and P&L responsibilityGlobal experience of direct P&L responsibility for revenue generating activitiesGlobal marketing experience and proven success within digital, CRM and sales and marketing across B2B and B2CGlobal brand management and brand promotion experience with high profile brandsGlobal product and product promotion experience with high profile productsConsumer research, analytics and segmentation experience to translate needs and pain points into offerings and solutionsGo-to-market experience of creating value propositions for mass customized segmentsProven leadership, followership and people management skills across multiple global markets
Preferred Experience, Qualifications & Education
Disruptive marketing experience in consumer products, information services, education/learning or consulting/professional services firmsKnowledge of the public accounting and/or management accounting profession including CPA and CGMAsDigital technology management experience
Location: UK/London or East Coast of USA (New York, DC, North Carolina)
