This position is a field based role, working out of the Bracknell office.
About the job
Achieve the go-live of on-site installation and required functionality of complex equipment and systems. You will provide technical expertise to set up customer site preparation, installation and commissioning process. You will provide technical presentations to an audience of customers, other industry peers or stakeholders. You will provide work instructions and customer-facing training guides. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives in the processes related to installation, commissioning and product development. You will lead cross-functional groups to quickly fix any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment. You will act as an escalation point for Customers, Subcontractors and other stakeholders. Be the face of Honeywell to with end-users, peers, and subcontractors in a conference setting. Learn end-to-end product and solution development and delivery of Honeywell products and solutions. Become a technical expert for complex Honeywell solutions/product during installation and commissioning stage of the project.
Tasks/Key Responsibilities
Coordinate installation, assembly and commissioning (electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and programming) and the activities with management, other departments and customer
Construction site set-up
Preparation of delivery and assembly schedules
Carry out instructions for installation and commissioning
Monitor deadlines and concurrent cost tracking of installation and commissioning activities
Develop the commissioning concept on site, if necessary, incl. last-minute risk analysis
Cooperation with other departments (sourcing, PMO, Engineering, development, quality, sales) and subcontractors in case of necessary adjustments for installation and commissioning to optimize the results
Compliance with cost, schedule and quality targets
Compliance with legal, safety and customer-specific requirements and regulations
Reporting: daily/weekly/final reports and construction site diary
Complete and support subcontractors in customer training
Coordinate order and cleanliness at the workplace and the construction site
Manage EH&S requirements and provide company safety guidelines, SCC, construction site regulations and the regulations of the employers’ liability insurance association
YOU MUST HAVE:
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent (preferable mechanical or electrical). Some experience in the field.
