Job Description
This role supports one of our biggest global accounts, Coty:
Coty is one of the world’s leading beauty companies with approximately $9 billion in revenue, a rich entrepreneurial heritage and an iconic portfolio of leading brands. They are the global leader in fragrances, with the number two position in salon hair and number three in colour cosmetics. They are one of Publicis’ top global clients with over 40 markets as part of our network to date.
Coty has an iconic portfolio of more than 60 brands organised by:Luxury (e.g. Gucci, Burberry, Calvin Klein, Chloé, Marc Jacobs Lacoste)Consumer Beauty, including cosmetics, skin and body care (e.g. Max Factor, Rimmel, Cover Girl, Sally Hansen)
Coty’s Global team, serviced directly by the Zenith HQ team you will be joining, is based in London
As our Global Director Digital, you will be supporting all three of our divisions. You will have media or advertising agency experience and be able to expertly navigate digital, data and tech transformation for global clients.
Data driven marketing is a crucial pillar of our client’s strategy to deliver meaningful experiences to its consumers with data delivering deep insights as well as precision targeting and effectiveness measurement. The client is in an ongoing period of transformation so looks to us to partner closely with them to drive real change.
You will report in to Groupe Client Lead, Coty, supporting both Consumer Beauty, Luxury Division and Wella Company in driving digital excellence, growth, innovation and thought leadership for the agency and work across the Coty account whilst working closely with the Global Strategy Directors, Global Head of Technology and the wider global teams.
You will be managing a team of digital experts.You will own and deliver our central Coty digital strategic vision and associated initiatives.You will manage Coty’s relationship with key digital partners for idea generation, added value research, always on innovations and on-going market performance monitoring.Develop Digital, Data & Technology Strategy roadmaps for our client’s transformation agendas that drive improved human experience as well as business outcomesDevelop hypotheses for the learning agenda, develop testing frameworks in conjunction with insight, strategy and measurement leadsEducate and lead the client on digital and data programme to ensure the client is learning how best to use digitalSupport campaign delivery teams with insight through a technology driven measurement & reporting setup qualified with insight from the analysts in the teamPartner with key vendors/internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for custom research, pilot/test new measurement platforms and leverage their data for planning purposes
Qualifications
We are looking for a brilliant digital driven marketer who can tell compelling stories through data and gain buy-in across a wide variety of stakeholders.A strategic and big-picture thinker, grounded in digital, analytics and optimisation, able to uncover strategic insights that can help create, shape and transform overall client (digital) strategic direction through a media strategy and communications plan.Commercial, naturally driven and high energy to constantly rise to the challenge – accustomed to delivering commercial outcomes for the agenciesHave managed multiple million £150m+ budgets across an international scope – EMEA and APAC preferredProficiency in ad tech and marketing automation systems, including Adobe, Salesforce and OracleExperience briefing a team of specialists and the ability to bridge planning and specialist execution. A brilliant operator with clear understanding of process and timing.Experience with FMCG / CPG – Beauty or Healthcare experience a bonusSomeone who can clearly, simply and convincingly articulate the role digital channels play in the marketing landscape, contextualize the value of digital for overall client business goals and explain sometimes complex thinking in simple language.You will be a strong digital practitioner, with experience gained from within a media agency or digital specialist agency.You are a self-starter, keen to help others develop client value from digital, visible to the wider team, inspirational yet approachableSolid experience within digital marketing with a strong focus on direct response/ROI driven marketing (display in programmatic, social, search, affiliates)
