We are looking for a candidate with strong software engineering background to enhance Intel Graphics driver’s quality. This candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following: – Responsible for delivering high-quality SW stack for Intel Graphics products, including integrated/discrete and server products. – Issue debugging which may include all Graphics components, e.g. 3D, Compute, Media, Display, Kernel Mode Driver, Cache, PCIe, etc. – Work with various partners and groups world-wide to root cause issues in the correct component by using different debugging tools and analyzing fail logs. Issues may be even outside Graphics and can be in other modules. – Define/review test plan and perform escape analysis. – It may involve tool/app development to help on efficiency improvement.
Qualifications
Candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with 12+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 9+ years of work or education experience in the following areas: – Thorough deep understanding of Windows and/or Linux/Android OS, Chrome OS architectures. – Deep understanding of CPU and GPU hardware architecture. – Deep understanding of graphics hardware and software design. – Good understanding of industry standard API’s and frameworks such as DirectX, OpenGL, OpenCL, Vulkan, surface flinger, HWC and Display Interface like DP, HDMI, MIPI, etc. – Strong knowledge of software development is critical, C, C++ and/or Python. – Positive attitude, disciplined and ability to work in stressful and competitive environment with good written/verbal communication skills. Good to have (plus): – Demonstrated software and silicon debug knowledge. – Knowledge of PnP (Power and Performance). – Knowledge of silicon design. – Knowledge of AI and AI at scale. – Understanding of Linux KMD (i915), Media and Compute stack. – Virtualization (Software VTd, Hardware: SRIOV). – Expertise in Deep Learning Frameworks: Tensorflow, Pytorch.
