Our Head of Technology will work closely with the CEO and will be an integral part of our Executive Committee and help us launch all products and services in India.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
You will lead and be instrumental in launching our various businesses and products like payments, trading, credit, insurance, digital bank in India.
Regulatory interface for all technology related to all regulated entities in India.
Customize global products keeping in mind the needs of customers.
Define and ensure world class UX to deliver great customer experiences.
Define a technology and product road map required to scale the India business.
Be the owner of back/front end infrastructure, architecture, standards, scalability and server side engineering and drive our technical direction to ensure on-time delivery with highest quality standards.
Define, lead and own all technology partnerships including KYC infrastructure, payment rails, Bank API’s etc.
Define, execute and be accountable for data localisation and other regulatory norms for running a regulated financial services business in India.
Plan, implement, monitor and review the information security framework for India in consultation with the Global Head of Information Security.
Ensure our information security program is in alignment with the Indian regulatory, legal and statutory requirements.
HOW YOU’LL BE DOING IT
Liaise closely with stakeholders across functions like Operations, Compliance, Legal, etc. to support product development and launches.
Define, prioritise and communicate technical requirements to the global engineering team and ensure execution of the same through global teams.
Establish reliable and reputable third party tech partnerships for India business.
Work closely with other internal and external product and technology experts.
Make business recommendations (e.g. cost-benefit, forecasting, experiment analysis) with effective presentations of findings at multiple levels of stakeholders through visual displays of quantitative information.
Track, analyze and monitor technology performance metrics.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED (background and experience)
You have 12+ years experience building customer facing products, ideally in high-growth start-ups (fintech, e-commerce, B2C platforms)
Someone who is able to prioritise features based on customer need/want, engineering challenges, and compliance & legal requirements per Indian norms to deliver relevant business outcomes.
Knowledge of RBI guidelines on Information Security & Cyber security, Business continuity, Information Technology (IT) Act, local privacy regulations.
An Engineering degree from a premier university.
