Description : The post holder will support the registered nurse and will undertake duties delegated by the registered nurse. The post holder will be accountable to the registered nurse and will be required to work within the scope and standards of practice for health care support workers within the Sandyford services. Work within key employment legislation and organisational policies which underpin role and level of accountability. You will demonstrate ability to work as an effective team member and recognise the role of the accountable professional practitioner in terms of support and supervision. With appropriate training and in accordance with recognised procedures demonstrate competence to undertake a range of clinical interventions as directed by and under the supervision of the registered nurse. It is essential that you have a Qualification at SVQ Level 3, SCQF level 6, or Higher – subject relating to science or healthcare and that you can demonstrate a caring and compassionate behaviour. The shift pattern for this post will be between Monday – Friday.
