Description : We have an exciting opportunity for a Human Resource Manager to join our team at Bayley & Sage. We are an independent fresh food retailer operating in the Southwest region of London. We have an expanding portfolio of ten stores, one central production kitchen, a distribution centre, and a central support hub. With a headcount of 160, we all need looking after! We need an experienced HR generalist with an exceptional eye for recruitment and a skill for developing talent.Role and ResponsibilitiesProvide a strategic and hands on role leading the HR team providing full cycle Human Resource support.Drive a company culture through HR programs that support strong business results and employee engagement and defines our values of respect, commitment, growth, and community.Help maintain a high-performance culture through our principles of fairness, communication, determination, and inspiration to improve our leadership team’s effectiveness through organisational design and development.Provide an effective service to both managers and employees on HR policy, legal requirements, staffing issues and act as arbitrator where necessary.Provide an effective recruitment service filling positions on a timely basis and using innovative, cost-efficient approaches to attract the best candidates and delivers great talent to the organisation in an ethical, consistent way within statutory legislation.Key skillsAn HR generalist background at senior level, preferably within the hospitality or retail sector, previous experience and a passion for engagement, communications, employee relations, learning and developmentA strong working knowledge of employment law and preferably CIPD qualifiedAbility to problem solve both operational and strategic issues through a pragmatic and commercially sound approach and based on feedback from the operationA coach and mentor with a friendly and warm personality, committed to developing people within the businessPassionate and enthusiastic about the industry and our peopleAn active supporter and develops team members, quick to identify and problem solve any issuesAbility to build great rapport and relationships with teams and our peopleGreat attention to detailJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per yearSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:Bachelor’s (preferred)Experience:HR: 3 years (preferred)Work remotely:No
