Our clients include multinationals and SMEs, governments, non-governmental organisations, supra-nationals, and non-governmental organisations.Job DescriptionThe Physician will utilize expertise to mitigate and treat injuries and illnesses to ensure proper injury care and disease diagnosis, treatment and recovery, request necessary tests and follow-up visits and refer patients to specialists as necessary. The Physician will coordinate medical referrals, coordinate admission, monitor and arrange final disposition. In addition, will require stabilization of patient and coordination of evacuation of patient to local care center or to regional medevac center.QualificationsDegree in Medical SciencesICU Certification/Specialist qualificationCurrent unrestricted medical licensed in home country.BLS and ACLS Certificates.A minimum of 3 years as a physician within an ICU/Critical Care environmentCOVID experience preferred.English language to CEFR Level C1 standard.Additional InformationProvide high quality care for patients based on their history, appropriate physical exam, available laboratory, imaging tests, and formulary for treatment of acute conditions, including appropriate lifesaving procedures;Will be treating COVID-19 patientsPerform contracted physicals, exams and medical care to high standard free of bias and to the required standardConduct regular rounds on patients, initiate case discussions, monitor and document patient progress with any changes in management and prognosis and ensure adequate handover or transfer to wardsAdvise if further testing and/or advanced care is required and initiate the referral processInitiate regular case discussions as part of hands-on trainingIdentify gaps in staff training and provide didactic and/or hands on training to staff as neededAdvocate to supervisors for other necessary training such as infection prevention and control (IPC), BLS/ACLS/ATLS, rational drug use, nursing care, etc.Utilize given data collection tools and provide training to other staff as neededCollect and analyze medical service data to adjust project objectives and activities as neededComplete standardized internal reporting as requested by Regional Management TeamWork with Nursing Staff and In-theatre logistics to ensure regular and adequate drug and medical supplies in order to avoid stock outs and all instruments and equipment are in working order Represent and actively participate in coordination meetings and other relevant meetings as requestedAdhere to Code of Conduct and etihics policies at all timesAny other relevant duties as requested by Site Health Manager or Regional Management TeamOther duties as assigned.
