We’re seeking an Intern and Business Partner, Human Resources to partner with key stakeholders and peers to support and engage with our powerful networks of people, opportunities, and investments. ABOUT THE TEAM
The HR Business Partner team is at the centre of our HR business delivery model and is responsible for the delivery (in partnership with the extended HR team and the business) of PSP’s talent strategies and agenda across our global offices in Montreal, Ottawa, New York, London and Hong Kong. The HR Business Partner team works in a matrix structure of global vertical business group leads and regional, locally focused HR Business Partners and the Intern and Business Partner will support the London team.
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
As an Intern and Business Partner, Human Resources , you’ll:
Partner with HR Business Partners on employee life-cycle activities
Analyze business requests and liaise with the Employee Experience team executing employee life cycle changes in the Workday system
Assist in the preparation of HR memos, letters, reports and other pieces of correspondence to employees and format presentations
Manage administrative tasks related to payroll, benefits, immigration and other onboarding tasks
Support the HR Business Partners on engagement and performance management initiatives across various groups in the organization
Assist in any employee relations meetings. Taking minutes and following up on action items
Help carry out various projects led by the Human Resources Business Partner team
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field
Ability to understand HR policies
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PPT, Word)
Ability to work as part of a team, in a spirit of cooperation, and maintain excellent interpersonal relations
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
Keen sense of proactivity, prioritization and organization
Ability to manage several files at the same time without missing deadlines
Attention to detail and analytical skills
Flexibility, adaptability and interest in being part of a growing organization
High level of discretion and professionalism
General knowledge of UK employment laws and government programs, is an asset
