The Role:
The core responsibility of the role will be to produce and own all design elements for Journeys marketing. To include but not limited to, organic social, performance marketing (display & social), website and all journeys brand governance (outside app).
You will work with the Journeys Head of Marketing, and marketing agencies to develop the storytelling, messaging and proposition to inspire people to act – designing concepts from scratch across key journey pillars, such as Menopause. In addition to this you will own and develop the marketing brand governance and marketing designs/activities to establish and maintain brand identity and presence in the market.
Responsibilities include:
Work alongside the Head of Marketing, Head of Design and brand agencies to develop the journeys brand guidelines and effective positioning in the market, ensuring this is aligned to the journeys value proposition and consumer needs
Develop a set of brand asset design principles and guidelines for the rest of the marketing team to follow in execution of marketing campaigns
Research and determine best in class design and areas of improvement in comparison to competitors
Actively contribute to marketing strategies and roadmaps to address these, providing recommendations on new design development where relevant • Work with the senior marketing manager to act as the guardians of the brand in all outward facing channels Execution of campaigns
Working alongside other members of the Journeys marketing team, launch high-impact campaigns to broaden the brand reach and inspire consumers
Working with the journeys Digital Marketing Executive, ensure that the development of content and online marketing assets are in line with brand principles
Working with the Content team to ensure the design and journeys brand messages and values are present and active throughout the content
Create, review and approve all branded elements for advertising and launch materials including in-store printed collateral, online assets, launch toolkits, product logos, and videos
The Person:
You will have a demonstratable track record in marketing design ideally gained within an agency environment along with experience of design across multi-channels including Brand, Functional and Performance Marketing Design.
Ability to work cross functionally across different teams
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
Some understanding of project management principles
Ability to work efficiently, quickly and consistently with high level of attention to detail
Strong IT skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly
