Shift pattern: Monday-Friday office hours

We are looking for a Junior Buyer who has an understanding of procurement, who is confident in engaging with stakeholders at multiple levels, and most of all who is driven to provide the best experience for our customers and is passionate about delivering value to the NHS.

What will you be doing?
You will play a vital role in the successful delivery of procurements within the team. This role will provide stretch and exposure within a busy, public sector focussed environment support successful deliver of the tower contract obligations. NHS Supply Chain provide patient-focussed healthcare products and supply chain services to the UK’s National Health Service.
Assisting in providing updates on process tasks to Buyers and Assistant Service Line Managers when required
Liaising with suppliers to gather required pricing information to support procurement implementation
Catalogue management to remove unwarranted variations
Management of customer level pricing to support successful implementation of customer level pricing agreements
Support in successful delivery of the procurements for NHS SC customers
Work closely with the wider team to ensure consistency and best practice
Be an active member of the Service Line, supporting teamwork and joint learning and development initiatives
