The Learning and Development Specialist has the opportunity to improve the productivity of Route’s employees and managers. Your work will support continued employee growth and development, scaling programs which support the learning of new skills and knowledge, providing opportunities for application and practice in their roles. You will assess company-wide developmental needs to drive training initiatives to identify and arrange suitable training solutions for our employees. You will actively search, creatively design and implement effective methods to educate, enhance performance. You will be pivotal in delivering on our mission to provide an exceptional employee experience. You will work closely with key collaborators and senior leaders across all departments and report directly to the Director of People.
Support the build of our learning and development foundation – everything from management training to individual contributor workshops. Own the training functions across the business
Obtains and /or develops effective training materials utilizing a variety of content
Trains and coaches managers, supervisors and others involved in employee development efforts
Leverage a data-driven approach to employee experience and engagement, consistently seeking and sharing innovative ideas and opportunities for improvement
Develop and own employee life cycle surveys (new hire, development 360, engagement, exit, etc.) and drive organizational results.
Analyzing and identifying trends in people data, partnering appropriately and creating scalable solutions, program and/or process enhancements to improve the employee experience, drive talent outcomes and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
3+ years in L&D, employee engagement, employee experience, and/or internal communications space
Experience working on projects focused on the enhancement of the employee lifecycle through process improvements, automation, data & insights
Strong executive presence and track record of cultivating strong and trusting relationships with cross-functional partners and executive leaders
