Consumer Products represents the best titles in Anime. We are passionate about extending the brand experience of our portfolio of titles to enhance the fan experience. We work with a variety of global and domestic partners to bring the best entertainment licensed consumer products and fan experiences to retail and beyond. Our team is composed of anime, retail and product enthusiasts. We are highly collaborative, driven, and dedicated to growing Anime globally.
The Merchandise Product Development Associate Manager plays an integral role to the success of our content and consumer products. The primary responsibility is to run product, packaging, and marketing approvals through the whole lifecycle from concept through production to ensure products are on-brand, on-time and are meeting set timelines.
The core responsibilities of this role are:
Asset management
Leading product, packaging and marketing approvals across multiple categories (i.e. apparel, accessories, figures, housewares, etc)
Managing information flow, capturing and keeping relevant project data
Gather information for the creation of product development schedules including key landmarks, statuses and priorities in process
Ensure product lines are on schedule
Build and maintain brand style guides for all licensees
The minimum qualifications and requirements for this position include:
Computer Proficient: Office, PowerPoint or Keynote, Outlook and Internet
Preferably with Photoshop capability
Completed 4-year college degree
Preferably 2-3 years of related experience, leading consumer product and packaging development from concept to final delivery
Creative, solution-oriented, organized
Strong project management skills

Familiar with pop culture and current entertainment
Typical Week in this Role
Maintain and present regular updates and status reports for department meetings, Provide support and information to key licensors and licensees
Collaborate closely with internal teams to assist with process flows and keep approval timelines in line with market trends and company adjustments
Document and update partner information
Support specific requests from licensees including providing brand assets
Send licensees creative materials and refresh of new materials as available
Capture and understand licensee/retail goals and product details in order to connect with and update licensors
Assist with brand marketing support including on-line and social media
Assist with development of brand decks and other licensing presentations
Other relevant projects as requested
