Job Description Summary: Sr. Manager, Business Development to lead the charge for FX and Treasury products globally

Who we are:
The hiring team is responsible for Go-To-Market for PayPal’s multiple platform product capabilities ranging from Treasury, FX, Privacy, Security and Risk Platforms. The team comprises of SMEs who would work with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to understand the Partner/Merchant business challenges, envision the solutions, and turn the vision into reality.
We are seeking a well-experienced Subject Matter Expert for our Business Development team for FX & Treasury Products. This individual would be the face of PayPal with our Global Enterprise merchants & Partners for all FX & Treasury related products. Ideal candidate must have thorough understanding of Cross-Border trade business and should have worked with the businesses in their forex & treasury related needs. This individual would be the ‘Voice of Customer’ for our Product teams and help chalk out the future roadmap of the products, based on the market needs and feedback from our customers
What you’ll do:
Market segmentation to identify the key segments that the product is applicable to
Customer reach outs to identify potential merchants that may be a great fit for a pilot, insights, etc
Build a strong pipeline of Enterprise merchants for FX & Treasury products.
Support the Global Sales teams in selling PayPal’s FX related products to existing merchants.
For the leads in pipeline, perform initial needs assessment of prospect while identifying existing pain points to determine how PayPal’s products & solutions could address those needs.
Research and stay up to date on current market trends, opportunities and competition
Develop exceptional relationships with business owners by building rapport and developing trust to understand their specific challenges
Be a trusted advisor to both clients and internal stakeholders and demonstrate amazing industry expertise as well as knowledge of FX & Treasury products.
Drive revenue growth for PayPal by selling our Products & solutions to Global Enterprises.
Maintain regular communication with both the Merchant/Partner and internal teams, and constantly manage client expectations during the entire product development lifecycle (interview, pilot, post launch)
Work closely with internal teams including Pricing, SalesOps, Sales Engineering & CSMs to ensure all aspects of a launch are managed and ensure complete customer satisfaction.
Who you are:
You have great domain experience in Forex & Treasury Mgmt.
You are an enthusiastic and rapid learner
You can leverage your executive presence and strong business acumen to become a trusted advisor to our partners
You have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to speak to diverse audiences and across functional areas to build a cohesive message and create consensus
You focus on the ‘Why’ as much as the ‘How’
You have worked with global businesses as a trusted advisor & partner
You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
You can develop deep understanding of our products and technology and determine the proper merchant and consumer solutions for web commerce, mobile applications, and payment platforms
You have great problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify issues, solve them quickly and well, and know when to rely on internal resources to assist
You have strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills
Your Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in fin-tech and/or computer science
5+ years of prior experience in Business Development / Sales / Consulting areas.
Prior experience in Forex Mgmt or selling FX related products / solutions is a must.
A track record of success in over-achieving vs. goals or quotas
Self-starter; strong work ethic; eager to crush sales goals
Willingness to travel (up to 50% if necessary, as global travel resumes) in support of achieving goals
