We are seeking a strong Marketing Content Specialist with a highly motivated, team-centric work ethic. This person will be responsible for the daily coordination and function of several of our internal web and mobile platforms with a primary focus on maintenance and continuous improvement of our employee mobile app.
You will be working with our cross-functional and collaborative team, where your knowledge and advice about application systems and the newest mobile technologies will be highly appreciated. You’ll also help ensure solid application performance and an excellent user experience.
As the Marketing Content Specialist, you will be integral in helping to push the boundaries of technology and access to resources within health care.
Work Schedule: Full Time Days
Responsible for the daily coordination and function of our internal platforms (employee mobile app, brand resource websites, etc.).
Utilize custom third-party content management systems to maintain, edit and build third-party applications, platforms, features and prototypes
Working with product managers, back-end developers, designers, third-party partners and the rest of the team to deliver well-architected and high-quality solutions
Interface with multiple departments and vendors to discover and evaluate project needs, integration opportunities, develop new digital features and diagnose and help correct bugs/performance/experience issues.
Elicit and analyze business processes and requirements from technical and non-technical teams.
Track, interpret and report on relevant platform metrics to all stakeholders
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mobile development and platforms
Ensure the best performance and user experience of applications and platforms
Develop new features and user interfaces from wireframe models and designs
Provide support to internal and external stakeholders
Stay up to date on the latest web/app technologies and general technology advancements in digital development and trends within various industries
Help develop, follow and maintain practices in development and testing standards
Assist with all aspects of development projects including scope, architecture, documentation, development, testing, releases, and enhancements
Assist with maintaining existing brand/content standards and guidelines across all of the organization’s internal platforms
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.
Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field.
Minimum Experience: 4 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience using content management systems. Proficiency in utilizing third-party content management systems to maintain, edit and build third-party applications, platforms, features, and prototypes
Experience and knowledge of mobile app development (iOS and Android). This includes the entire process, from the first line of code to publishing in the store(s)
Familiarity with notifications (push, banner, etc.), API’s, integrations, geo location functionality
Solid understanding of digital technologies/functions and processes including user interface design, user experience, mobile app development (iOS, Android), cross-browser capabilities, responsive design technologies and general web functions/standards
Understanding of development languages (and platforms) like CSS, HTML, JSON, xModule, JavaScript, XML, GitHub. Ability to write basic code
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Excel, and Adobe Creative Suite
Proficiency with Google Analytics
Knowledge of Google and Apple app store and app store submission process
Solid understanding of UX / UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards
Experience with profiling and coordinating debugging efforts with support teams
Experience identifying and prioritizing issues; troubleshooting complex issues
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interacting with colleagues with varying levels of technical knowledge
A desire to learn new skills and work with cutting edge technologies to get the job done with passion and enthusiasm
Commitment to quality; ability to review and correct deficiencies in own work and help others in troubleshooting
Strong critical thinking, decision making and analytical skills
Excellent project management, organization, multi-task, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
Ability to write clean, readable, basic code
The pay range for this position is: $31.61 – $47.41 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant’s relevant experience.
An annual bonus may be paid to eligible employees based upon organizational and individual performance.
