Use your marketing superpowers to help more kids around the world learn through play; push LEGO to brand, market and position our new play experiences in a totally different way.Our fantastic Marketing Innovation team is looking for its newest member who will guide the team and coach the wider marketing organisation on how best to connect to today’s kids, shoppers and retailers. Core Responsibilities
Strategic marketing: leading the development of the end-to-end marketing strategy for new innovations, through test to launchTrade marketing: deep understanding of the global retail and ecommerce landscape, benchmarking our launches against best in classInnovation/product launch: comfort in ambiguity, test & learn and iterative approaches to taking new products/platforms/services to marketPrioritization: comfortable taking ownership for tough decisions with the evidence to hand, making key tradeoffs and learning from the processBusiness relationship management: balancing the management of internal and external partners with consumer needs and market opportunityLeadership: managing, coaching and guiding strategic marketers for capability and personal development (2 direct reports and indirect marketing mentoring across the rest of the Play Propositions marketing team)

To do so, it is essential that within the Play Lab we find opportunities, understand audience needs, formulate propositions to meet those needs, ensure the propositions are communicable, and solve go-to-market challenges. No proven path exists; through astute observation and evidence gathering, experimentation and rapid iteration, we build proven business cases that support global rollout of our new products.
Our strategic marketers are core to shaping all new innovations from seed to scale, within the Play Propositions team.
