WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Nike Consumer Direct Marketing is looking for 2 Lifecycle Marketing Specialists to be a part of the NA Member Lifecycle Marketing team and play a critical role in driving the evolution of data-driven, member-centric marketing at Nike. These positions will be key components to how we onboard, engage, and retain new Nike members, and encourage them to take actions indicative of stronger long-term engagement and retention. The two roles will focus on different phases of the member lifecycle – Engage and Retain.
The ideal candidate should have a background in or an understanding of lifecycle marketing across channels both digital and physical. The role is highly cross-functional, and will require effective communication and collaboration. The candidate will need to be able to eloquently blend art and science, with an understanding of how to interpret and action on data and an ability to develop innovative creative briefs. The candidate should understand the latest digital marketing/CRM technology in order to build comms and journeys that are feasible and take advantage of the full suite of available capabilities.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
The NA Member Lifecycle Marketing team serves and retains members throughout their journey with Nike, starting to build the relationship at the moment they become a member, proactively nudging the member to the next best action, and intervening before they churn. This team is responsible for driving the creation and optimization of always-on triggered comms and notifications, delivering against an integrated cross-platform & omnichannel strategy and tailored to meet the needs of each individual platform.
As a Lifecycle Comms Specialist, you will drive the creation and optimization of always-on communications for Nike members, and partner with the channel owners to tailor and deploy by platform. This will include briefing creative & audiences, ensuring technical feasibility, and coordinating with channel teams to implement and deploy.
A typical day/week looks like planning against new capabilities and triggers from our Global partners, making recommendations to test/learn/optimize current communications, carrying out tests on a bi-weekly basis, and partnering across the org to deploy new or updated comms (emails, in-app messages, notifications).
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
Among others, you’ll partner with Member Growth to identify business opportunities, Marketing Science to understand data and insights, and Channel Leads to execute by platform.
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor’s degree or higher or combination of relevant education, experience, and training
2-3 years of experience (professional or interns) working in CRM, loyalty and/or digital marketing
Experience implementing and managing digital marketing communications across multiple digital and physical channels
Technical knowledge of the latest digital marketing tools and channels
Experience working with and actioning on data and insights
Self-starter who excels at being a part of a team but is also skilled at working independently
Strong project management skills
