As the New Developments Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for the management and growth of our New Developer contracts which deliver renewable technology installations over multi-year agreements. You will join a small team who are successfully expanding the footprint into New Developments, helping The Phoenix Works to recognise incremental revenue. You will be responsible for the following:
Account Management of the New Developer contracts to deliver renewable technology installations over multi – year framework agreements – including meeting client needs day – to – day per build schedules, as well as formal monthly/quarterly business reviews as required
Working closely with internal business stakeholders (such as Finance, Product & Marketing, Legal, etc) involved in seamless delivery of solutions to our clients
Working closely with our sister company Virgin Media O2 and Liberty Charge, as well as our parent company Liberty Global, ensuring the most collaborative ways of working, partnering, and strategic alignment
Your focus will initially be on delivery of EV Charging solutions for New Build Developers at Single Dwelling Unit (SDU) sites – but is expected to increase in scope to cover additional technologies (e.g. Solar, Battery, Heat) and across a wider range of clients (e.g. Local Authorities, Government, Multiple Dwelling Units, etc)
Keeping a keen eye on market developments and competitor offerings to ensure we are delivering best – in – class products and services to our clients
Engagement with teams within the business responsible for delivery of solutions, ensuring works are carried out to agreed volumes, timelines, and commercials – as well as in a manner that delivers target margin and business objectives
Managing complex or unplanned situations with clients when inevitable issues occur
Being mindful of and aligning to our company’s longer term strategy by ensuring uptake of our subscription services, working closely with our B2C Sales & Marketing Team
The successful candidate will have the following:
A driven, customer-centric attitude, motivated by achieving great outcomes for our clients
Excellent relationship managing and networking skills with the ability to forge long-term relationships with customers, stakeholders and colleagues
Strong commercial acumen to ensure we deliver contracte d work to agreed business measures (such as cost of delivery, margin, time spent per site, etc.)
A track record of owning large or complex deliveries – to ensure we’re able to scale our client offerings and respond accordingly if things go wrong
Demonstrable experience within the Built Environment – to understand the context of the New Build Developer, Government, and Local Authority clients we work with
Strong communication skills with the ability to work at pace in a scale – up environment
