LloydsPharmacy Clinical Homecare are looking for a Production Night Shift Manager to join their team in the Compounding department at LPCH Harlow.

As the Night Shift Manager you will be the most senior person on site during the night shift and will be responsible for overseeing the entire sites operations and running whilst on shift.
You will manage the team of Supervisors, Aseptic and Non-Aseptic Operators and ensure that the teams are motivated, educated and empowered at all times.
With the support from the on shift supervisors you will prioritise your focus on the entire production process while maintaining the correct health & safety and hygiene requirements.
You will be able to foresee and assess risk and ideally have a thorough understanding of GMP processes and when to escalate.

About You
As the Night Shift Manager, you will have previously worked as a shift manager and be experienced in change management, conflict management and stakeholder management. Whilst you will have senior level responsibility in the operational and procedure side, you will equally manage a team of employees and be highly experienced in people management, performance management, have managed disciplinaries, investigations and dismissals, and will have a thorough understanding of HR procedures.
Ideally, your industry background will be in manufacturing, pharmaceuticals or either food or pharma-production.
Your responsibilities and duties will include:
To provide strong leadership and comprehensive day to day management of the production operation to deal with the variable and exacting demands that are inherent in manufacturing.
To ensure that the production facilities are organised, maintained and managed in manner that is conducive to clinical manufacturing activity, ensuring staff are suitably trained and assessed to regulatory standards.
To ensure that high levels of service are provided to both internal and external customers. To regularly liaise with these stakeholders to identify where deficiencies in services exist, and detail actions to improve the service to the satisfaction of all parties.
To both proactively and reactively manage the risk-based activity within the manufacturing processes.
To be technically sound and well versed in management practices/people skills.
Will ensure personnel issues such as attendance, timekeeping, disciplinary or capability are addressed promptly and in accordance with company procedures.
Is able to encourage learning and development by delegating tasks to team members, empowering action and providing support when needed.
Is able to appraise staff and set achievable, measurable goals.
Continuously challenge the plan and provide a platform to drive improvements and efficiency.
