Description : Our Data Centers are the foundation upon which our rapidly scaling infrastructure operates to deliver Meta’s expanding technologies. Meta is seeking a self-motivated Operations Program Manager (OPM) to join our Infrastructure Data Center (IDC) Business Operations Program Management team (BOPM).This OPM will focus their support on the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of business processes to support all aspects of the IDC organization, including designing operational strategies for team alignment, information management, and skilled program/project management. The scope of the role will include driving alignment with leadership, project scoping and execution on a broad range of high-impact business operation services.The OPM will be responsible for creating and maintaining standards, developing and sharing best practices, and working with cross-functional partners for the ongoing development and implementation of strategic frameworks and processes. This role will strengthen org-wide knowledge sharing and facilitate cross-team flows of information, delivering critical impact at scale. Success in this role demands excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a tendency for action. The selected candidate will be able to quickly build relationships, assess process and stakeholder pain points, and deliver robust and efficient solutions that scale across a diverse, global, and highly cross-functional organization. Meta’s infrastructure is expanding rapidly, and we need an experienced Program Manager who will help us do the same.
Drive excellence by partnering with Stakeholders across IDC to identify and deliver strategies for organizational alignment, knowledge management, and/or information management.
Utilize your project management and communication skills to define scope requirements, analyze data, and develop strategic recommendations for program and operational execution.
Lead cross functional, data driven and innovative business process improvements, service delivery models, resource planning and tooling requirements – be able to clearly articulate current state and drive towards targeted future state.
Effectively influence stakeholders and partners, prioritizing the delivery of multiple projects to different stakeholders under tight deadlines.
Collaborate on goal setting and strategic priorities for partner organizations and effectively communicate to ensure globally dispersed teams are aligned.
Continually refine the best practices for cross-functional program management consistent with Meta, Infra, and Infra Data Center’s environment.
Identify gaps and opportunities across our global portfolio of programs and collaborate with fellow Operations Program Managers to implement improvements as needed.
Act as business liaison between Business Operations Program Managers (BOPM) and other IDC teams.
Drive progress with minimal oversight or escalation across a global team.
Facilitate and manage the internal team and leadership meetings.
Help build relationships, gain consensus, remove tension/roadblocks while focusing on solutions.
Ability to travel approximately 10% (post-Covid).
Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
Bachelor’s degree in Management, Operations, Business, Communications or related field.
10+ years experience in a quantitative field in a consulting, strategic planning, business operations, or business analytics role.
5+ years experience in program management with a demonstrated track record of leadership in execution of large-scale programs.
Experience in influencing strategy and effective communication with leadership.
Hands-on experience analyzing and interpreting data, drawing conclusions, defining recommended actions, and reporting results across stakeholders.
Experience dealing with ambiguity, operating in a high-growth environment, and solving problems with limited oversight.
Proven background and interest in process improvement and gap analysis.
Experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones.
7+ years experience in program management, strategic planning, or data analytics with a demonstrated track record of leadership in execution of large-scale/hyper-scale programs.
Program Management, Agile, or Six Sigma certification(s).
MBA or other advanced degree.
