Description : Female Personal Assistant / support worker Vibrance coordinates the LinkMeUp Personal Assistant (PA) Register, a matching service for children, adults and older people that need support with everyday living; from personal care to accessing the community.We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic female to support a young, outgoing autistic man who is an excellent communicator and has a passion for Rapping and Hip-Hop, Walking and anything to do with technology.The 20 year old man lives in Hastings and would like the support to help him live an independent life at home and in the community. Support is for approximately 10 hours per week, with a minimum of 2 x 5hr days and ideally more but this is flexible. The young man’s support goals include:· Support in the home including cooking supervision· Social Support in the community· Support to build and maintain positive relationships· Support to find and maintain employment· Support to manage finances and budgetExperience of supporting people with Autism is preferred but not essential if you have the right attitude and are committed to building a positive working relationship. Shadowing opportunities with family (Mum) will be provided.
