Description : Overview:
The Corporate Communications department at Chick-fil-A has a vision to build an Enterprise Communications Network that fosters growth and a culture of care. The Content & Channels team seeks to enable clarity by raising Chick-fil-A’s collective voice and connecting out internal audiences to what’s vital.
The @Chick-fil-A Product Manager would be the business owner for Chick-fil-A’s Corporate Intranet, @Chick-fil-A, which serves as the central channel in our network. This individual would lead product strategy and vision for how @Chick-fil-A supports and communicates to Franchise Owners and their teams as well as manage the day-to-day operations of the channel.
He/she would work closely with Digital Transformation & Technology (DTT) partners to continuously improve @Chick-fil-A, understand requests and needs from both the business and users and serve as a thought partner as we continue to evolve our network of channels. He/she would also oversee the content management systems (CMS) and video platform that power @Chick-fil-A as well as define and lead work through a team of developers.
Define vision and strategy for Chick-fil-A’s Corporate Intranet as a portal and communications channel to Franchise Owners and their teams
Partner with DTT to define, prioritize and oversee the development of product redesigns, new features, enhancements and integrations, including managing the product backlog
Lead the development and maintenance of Corporate Communications’ content management system and video platform, including improving the content distribution and management process
Support, document and train content team on any new or changes to content distribution and management processes
Partnering with content team on special projects and complex content management tasks
Solicit and manage user feedback and requests
Understand and monitor user behavior, including regular review of analytics
Ensure channel stability and troubleshoot and communicate any performance issues
Participate and make recommendations regarding vendor selection
Manage and engage with key stakeholders, including casting vision and communicating channel strategy
Partner with Corporate Communications team to understand content and messaging strategy and create digital solutions to meet business and audience needs
Consult on use of channel to Corporate Communications team and others
Monitor digital trends and translate them to Chick-fil-A business
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
5 – 7 years work experience
Managing digital platforms in communications, media, journalism or marketing for a business, organization or agency
Leading web and/or app product development with minor coding support and HTML modification
Using agile project management and scrum processes
Passion for creating best-in-class, user experiences
Proven success in agile project management
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to drive for results, while maintaining strong relationships
Forward thinking with ability to balance short-term and long-term goals
Experience leveraging technology to solve communications challenges
Preferred Qualifications:
7 – 9 years work experience
Experience in innovation, information architecture, analytics, search engine optimization, automation and/or process improvement
Certified Scrum Product Owner
Minimum Years of Experience: 5 Travel Requirements: 20% Required Level of Education: Bachelor’s Degree Preferred Level of Education: N/A Major/Concentration: Communications, Media, Marketing, or Business Equivalent
