Job Description
The role is an exciting opportunity to work on a client that is transforming its business and be a part of facilitating their digital step changing process. Nomad Foods is a leading frozen food company with brands like Birds Eye, Goodfellas, Iglo, Findus and Aunt Bessie’s; the company is at a key stage in their marketing journey and see Zenith as a key partner to help facilitate their evolution to become the best in class in the FMCG industry.
Nomad Foods are looking to consolidate all their digital spend across EMEA. The purpose of the Programmatic Account Manager role in Zenith’s Global team (based in London) is to manage programmatic campaigns for the EMEA Digital Hub being set up for Nomad Foods.
The candidate will work closely with the Programmatic Director to manage the overall programme with a direct responsibility for managing programmatic campaigns within the EMEA hub and driving excellent standards of delivery in programmatic execution.
This is a recently created role, which will report into the Programmatic Director.
The more detailed responsibilities are outlined below.
Team/Department Profile:
This programme will sit as part of the Nomad Foods team. The candidate will be expected to form a strong relationship with the Programmatic Director to drive programmatic best practice and leverage valuable learnings.
Responsibilities:
The Programmatic Account Manager is responsible for all aspects of Programmatic campaign implementation. This involves managing multiple accounts, maintaining best practice implementation for optimisation and campaign set up.
The candidate will also be responsible for account portfolio management with other stakeholders such as planners and the client, so must be able to identify new opportunities or potential weaknesses/limitations of strategies and communicate this effectively.
Understand and effectively communicate our programmatic value proposition, technology, and processes as related to the growth of current and prospective agency accounts
Execute and manage his/her client portfolio effectively using demand side platforms:
Oversee and manage his/her daily client portfolio campaign maintenance including communication, campaign setup, troubleshooting and reporting as well as managing the programmatic executive support
Oversee /work with agency stakeholders to manage, implement and deliver wider client project on the likes of DMP, dynamic creative, multi-touchpoint attribution etc.
Identify, assess and implement opportunities that will drive the programmatic campaign for his/her client portfolio forward
Oversee and resolve weekly and/or daily campaign QA reports to ensure accurate campaign results and trafficking routines
Supporting the Programmatic Director on areas that will further the Zenith Media programmatic offering (e.g., improving campaign operation efficiency such as reporting automation, developing process/service such as new product adoption, working on award entries and case studies)
Attend relevant internal, client, tech and supplier meetings as appropriate
Design measurement solutions that demonstrate the efficacy of campaigns
Create documents to showcase performance and provide in-depth analysis of results
Managing two programmatic account executives
Line management of programmatic account executives, with responsibility for their wellbeing, workflows and learning and development
Cascading best practice down to programmatic account executives, inclusive of financial due diligence and the completion of administrative tasks.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have prior hands-on experience with the major demand side platforms, strong analytical, writing and comprehension skills, and preferably online trafficking experience, with Google Campaign Manager or similar campaign management systems, though this is non-essential.
Most importantly, they must possess a strong inner drive to redesign the digital media landscape, enjoy working with some of the finest minds in the industry, and truly be a part of something unique that will have a lasting impact.
Strong Programmatic knowledge and skills, experience in Programmatic trading with a proven track record in managing successful campaigns
Self-driven, results-oriented, solutions-focused with a positive outlook
Proficient in multiple DSPS and extensive knowledge of the RTB and wider programmatic landscape
Effective at people management and compliant with following policies and practices in line with the talent team. Good knowledge around recruitment, performance management best practice, motivation, development plans and issue resolutions
Advanced presentation skills
Advanced communication and writing skills – working across the team, within the wider agency, with clients and media owners
Strong analytical thinking and mathematical skills (knowledge)
Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
