As a member of the Global Card Issuance (GCI) Capabilities Team within the Global Services Group’s (GSG) organization, the successful candidate will join our fast-paced, high performing team as a Project Analyst responsible to analyze impacts of a critical, complex and highly visible Authorization Modernization Program (AMP) on the customer servicing journeys.
As the Project Analyst of AMP GSG PMO team, successful candidate will be responsible to support a strategic Authorization Modernization Program (AMP) to modernize AXP’s authorization business process and platforms from legacy mainframe to modern distributed cloud native design. This role will work with cross functional program/project teams to ensure the desired results are achieved, actively participating in day to project management meetings to lead analysis with impacted teams and stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity for a practically minded professional with an excellent knowledge of project/business analysis principles and a track record of their successful application in the Financial Services Industry. The incumbent will be working closely with the wide array of Strategy, Product, Technology teams, as well as partner areas such as Servicing, Compliance, and Operational Risk.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Analysis for AMP GSG impacts, including planning and coordinating day-to-day activities.
Work with key stakeholders across businesses to assist the product management team in creation of product roadmap, customer journeys and product vision.
Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members.
Ability to effectively manage projects, develop project plans, track project status and ensure timely completion of projects.
Develop Spreadsheets, Power Point Presentations and Process Maps to document needs.
Build and maintain relationship with all key stakeholders within and outside the program to ensure smooth delivery of results.
Coordination of internal and external resources to maximize project and program success.
Ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and use them to Manage projects and to effectively communicate with Key stakeholders.
Support day to day responsibility of a project analysis in support of AMP GSG PMO
Minimum Qualifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High level of flexibility with the ability to absorb new information and adapt to change quickly
Excellent written and Verbal communication Skills
Ability to work independently and interact effectively with at all organizational levels
Ability to handle multiple assignments and tasks independently/with minimal supervision
Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent Work Experience
Experience / Understanding / Certification in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or Project Management or Agile Software Development Methodology will be a plus
Motivated self-starter and keen learner
Bachelor’s Degree with atleast 2 years of relevant work experience.
