The Project Manager, Content Development plays a pivotal role in keeping projects moving internally and externally, working with collaborators across content, technology, and product, to meet deadlines, enforce process, and build efficiency for Getty Images and our content suppliers.
Your Next Challenge:
Reporting to the Sr. Dir – Content Development, the Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and tracking the end-to-end process across our content supply chain, including:
Brief creation and communication processes
Content editing, ingestion, and migration projects
Contributor recruitment, onboarding, and engagement projects
Tracking and reporting data on content performance (interactions, downloads, revenue)
Tracking and reporting against budgets for production funding, content purchases, and contributor royalties
The Project Manager embraces scale, driving processes involving large volumes of content, data, and contributors, and is comfortable working across functions. They are also responsible for the real-time communication of the status of projects and standardized reporting. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a test and learn environment.
What You’ll Do:
Partner with Creative and Product leaders on workflow and strategies for building and managing content sources for our Content team, creating efficiencies wherever possible
Engineering plans and processes associated with content sourcing and deliveries
Provide credibility and operational oversight, instilling confidence in Getty Images’ process and workflow
Be an engine for scalability across the team
Manage, monitor, and communicate the status of all projects
Lead team stand-ups
Maintain status and progress in project management tools
Able to adhere to schedules with outstanding organizational skills.
Traffic management, including setting timelines
Identifies process bottlenecks and makes recommendations for improvements
Manage creative review and approvals (when required)
Work closely with product and technology on improvements that will lead to greater optimization and scale
Provide suggestions for new tools and feedback on them
Oversee and advise on recruitment and engagement efforts that impact our supply chain
Collaborate closely with internal partners, flexibly supporting the Creative team on key initiatives as needed
What You’ll Need:
Project management experience (preferably 3 plus years proven experience)
Time management and ability to prioritize tasks
Proficiency with project management software
Experience working in a high growth business or industry
Comfortable working with large volumes of data and content
Detail and process-oriented
Creative sensibility – love of content and experience in production environments is a plus
Excellent writer and communicator, comfortable working across geographic regions
College degree and/or PMP certification with work experience
