Description : We are looking for Regional Managers to join our Senior Leadership Team and further support our 17 nurseries. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, passionate, committed and hardworking Regional Manager to join our team.You will form part of the Senior Management team and will work closely alongside the Operations Manager.The company’s nurseries are divided into 3 regional groups consisting of approximately 5 nurseries per group. These regional groups may be expanded to facilitate growth at the managements discretion.The Regional Managers will rotate groups every 12 months. The nurseries are based in; London, Richmond, Clapham, New Malden, Guildford and West Sussex. You must be flexible to travel to all of these locations.Responsibilities and DutiesMonitor, coach, support and motivate all team members to enable them to reach their full potential.To safeguard the health, well being and safety of the children within our care. In the event of a concern to a child or staff member immediately reporting these concerns in line with the appropriate policies and procedures.Ensure that a high level of service is delivered within your group and that the nurseries are compliant in relation to health and safety, Ofsted and other relevant regulatory frameworks and requirements.Ensure that people, financial and customer service performance is delivered in line with budgets and key performance indicator.To lead the planning, development and delivery of effective, efficient and sustainable services across the group, realising our strategic aims.Implement the strategy and business plan as it relates to operational services across the group. Gain commitment to the strategy and business plan by ensuring it is communicated effectively to all teams in the context of the overall strategy of the Company.Work with the Operations Manager and the Regional team to embed the transformation of services, increasing quality, reducing costs, improving overall productivity and value for money to parents and children. Play an active and collaborative role in the effective management and achievement of the outcomes of the company.Effectively managing and coaching the range of managers that will report directly to you as a Regional Manager.Act as a key driver and enabler of service innovation, creating an environment where service design and innovation can flourish.To assist in disciplinary inquiries and hearings to ensure policy is properly carried outTo update company policies in line with revised legislation or approved practiceEnsure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource UK requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.Identify skill shortages within your group and propose remedial actionMaintain an effective staff onboarding induction programme.To provide on site support to all new nursery openings and onboard incoming new manager & staff.Reporting to and working closely with the Operations manager, you will be responsible for managing the performance of a diverse range of operational services and staff to optimise the company’s ability to deliver quality childcare, within agreed budget and legislative frameworks.To lead the planning, development and delivery of effective, efficient and sustainable services across the region, realising our strategic aims and ensuring the maximum positive impact on the children and parents.Developing and maintaining professional relationships with external agencies and other professionals associated with the nursery.In addition to your daily duties you will be expected to take an organisational leadership role in setting the appropriate standards, embedding outstanding practice within the nurseries and leading communities of practice across the organisation.Skills RequiredEarly Years Degree/Level 3 Qualification such as; Early Years Educator, NNEB.Full clear UK driving license.A minimum of 2 years nursery management experience.Must be able to work a flexible 40 hour weekFull knowledge of the EYFS curriculum, Intent Implementation and Impact and Ofsted.Outstanding knowledge on the latest EYFS framework and the new inspection process.Outstanding knowledge of the Ofsted requirements and standards.A minimum 2 years nursery management experience.BenefitsCompetitive salariesFurther training opportunitiesContinuous Professional developmentPension schemePerformance Bonus SchemeCompany CarThe organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
