Description : We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales & Events Coordinator to join our team at Chateau Rhianfa. The person will be responsible with dealing with all enquiries for events, seeing all events through to the day of the event. A big part of the role will be involved in the selling of weddings which play a big part in our business.You’ll organise all customer meetings and events, ensuring they have a memorable experience throughout. You’ll act as a hotel ambassador and trusted partner – you’ll connect internal teams to deliver a seamless experience for planners, hosts and meeting attendees. You’ll also assist the department in developing and implementing selected marketing & sales tasks ensuring the highest level of customer service at all timesYou’ll be passionate about people, have a personalised approach. Showing clients around the building and selling everything we have to offer.Chateau Rhianfa is a 4 star , award winning hotel located on the banks of the Menai Straits, and is a very popular wedding and events venue. We have over recent years won the accolade of Welsh Hospitality Hotel of the Year for Wales, as well as Most Romantic Wedding Venue in Wales from The Welsh Wedding Awards.The successful candidate will:Have excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to sealing booking with customersWell informed about the market and industryAbility to build and maintain long lasting relationships with existing and new clientsFlexible and adaptable, with the ability to stay calm under pressure, adapting your approach to complete routine and non-routine tasksHigh attention to detail and accuracy – great at managing one’s own timeHave a creative and innovative approachGreat team working skills whilst being comfortable and able to work aloneShould have at least 2 years experience ina customer facing role within the hospitality industryPrevious experience of events and weddings would be beneficialJob Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: Up to £21,500.00 per yearAdditional pay:Performance bonusTipsBenefits:Company eventsDiscounted or free foodEmployee discountOn-site parkingSchedule:10 hour shift8 hour shiftWeekend availabilityCOVID-19 considerations:All procedures in line with latest Welsh Government restrictionsExperience:Events: 2 years (preferred)
