Description : AdminTo act as a first stop for incoming post, phone calls, e-mails and distribute as appropriateResponsible for general clerical and administrative tasks, including; ICT facilities, school reception, reprographics, records and photocopying, collating of reports and documents, typing and telephones.To ensure the necessary permissions forms for every child are held and recorded and updated as required.Maintain records with regard to SEN and health issues and to distribute in line with the school process.Liaise with kitchen staff re daily dinner numbersTo write and design general school materials as directedMaintain email and sibling distribution lists.To collate, produce and distribute the school newsletter and other communications as requiredTo act as personal assistant to the SLT by assisting the SLT by undertaking all administration in a timely manner and typing minutes as required.Complete necessary returns for the local authority and DfES including the termly school censusLiaise with outside agencies on all aspects of school administration.Financial· To liaise with Central Team as necessary.· To monitor all local accounting procedures and resolve any problems, in conjunction with the central team· Maintaining the school inventory.· Keep localised records of Purchase Order Requisitions and forward all invoices to the central team.· Bank all cash on a weekly basis.· Be the school business card holder· To manage School Money and to create any new services as required· Authorise travel, overtime and mileage claims via iTrent.· To liaise with the central team with regard to school trips. Be responsible for collating localised requirements, including collation of information and payments (via SchoolMoney).· To ensure dinner money is collected and balanced on a weekly basis via School Money· To be responsible for the letting of the school premises to outside organisations and school staff in accordance with the school policy.Premises and Lettings· Responsible for the arrangements for booking the local facilities· Responsible for the co-ordination of lettings to outside organisations and school staff in accordance with the school policy· To act as local Health and Safety and Premises Coordinator and first point of contact for premises matters, liaising with the central Premises team as appropriate.Personnel· Ensure new staff have an induction befitting their role and experience.· Work with the central HR team with regard to maintaining HR files.· To maintain the school MIS as appropriate.· Liaise with the Central HR team with regard to maintaining the local Single Central record.Admissions and Attendance· Maintain Pupil Records· Responsible for administration of admissions and induction of new parents and pupils.· Maintain pupil attendance records and generate reports for persistent absentees· Check daily attendance has been recorded on the MIS, following up any missing marks.· Produce a weekly register for fire purposes.· Undertake first day attendance calling.· Discuss persistent absenteeism with parents, liaise with teaching and social inclusion colleagues as necessary.Support the School· Be a welcoming, first point of call, to parents, children and visitors· Being aware of and complying with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, and reporting all concerns to an appropriate person· Being aware of and supporting difference and ensuring all pupils have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop· Contributing to the overall ethos/work/aims of the school by supporting character education and C360 programme.· Attending and participating in regular meetings· Participating in training and other learning activities as required· Recognising own strengths and areas of expertise and using these to advise and support others· Respecting confidentiality· Promoting the school at all times· Be part of the Safeguarding team at level 3.Job Types: Part-time, Fixed termContract length: 6 monthsPart-time hours: 15 per weekSalary: £10.41-£11.50 per hourBenefits:On-site parkingApplication deadline: 14/02/2022Expected start date: 28/02/2022
