The Role:
We are looking for a passionate and skilled teacher to join our education team where we are always striving to provide the highest quality of education and outcomes for our young people. It will be your role to provide high quality, challenging and differentiated learning through a broad and balanced curriculum, with the aim of ensuring that every young person is able to achieve their very best possible outcomes and full potential for future life.
It will be your responsibility will be to plan and deliver high quality teaching and learning within a meaningful and engaging curriculum that stretches and challenges all learners within your class.
As we are determined to become an outstanding service, we will require you to develop your own skill set, and have an up to date knowledge and understanding of the professional duties of teachers and the statutory framework within which teachers work. We will of course support you on this and any areas you wish to develop in.
You’ll also be expected to supervise the work of any staff, who are assigned to work with your class.
Successful candidates are likely to demonstrate:
PGCE, QTS or equivalent teaching qualification and evidence of in-service training
Knowledge and personal experience of disabilities and surrounding issues.
A flexible approach and a high level creativity
The role may require participation in physical intervention and personal care routines
