A dynamic, progressive, interior design team seeks a new team member with creativity and attention to detail. Must be able to take a design from concept through completion. Must be an expert in Hand sketching Ideas and understanding of a wide range of materials & finish selections, furniture specifications, color, and lighting. Residential, Hospitality, Commercial & Healthcare project experience a plus.
The Senior Interior Architect designer will support and guide the team members through various activities including drawings, presentations, data compilation, 3D sketching and schedules. s/he will be able to work independently or under the supervision of the Project Architect & Discipline Leader.
You should have demonstrated ability to combine imagination with technical know-how to implement those designs. The ability to hand sketch ideas and details is a must.
Some of the key job responsibilities of this role entail this following:
Work as part of the Senior Leadership team to continue to grow our practice.
Work with the other key staff to develop “win” strategies, including client contact, proposal preparation and preparation of and participation in client interviews.
Management of multiple projects
Performs as Project Leader on certain projects.
Supervises Interior Designers or CAD technician.
Handle project from Pre-design , Concept Design, Design Development, Tender Documentation to Post Design Stage
Space planning, & Selection of FF&E
Prepares 3d sketches & renderings whenever required.
Production of CADD drawings whenever required
Presents the project through its different phases to the client whenever required.
Marketing design services and client maintenance
Processing of contract documents & assist contract administration
Develops, modifies and reviews production drawings and construction documents.
Corrects and updates design documents.
Develops solutions to technical problems and create interior detailing.
Serves as an architectural resource for the Interior Design department.
Is responsible for keeping all phases of a project on schedule.
Performs complex interiors assignments with minimum supervision.

Qualifications:
If you have the following qualifications, we would love for you to be a part our diverse team:
B.S. Degree in Interior Design
8-10 years of experience in Interior Design field
Strong design and project management skills to include all phases of production.
Must be proficient in space planning, contract documents (includes detailing, specifications, production management, design production), contract administration, project management, and FF&E
Prior experience in Residential, Hospitality, Commercial & Healthcare interior design
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must
Computer proficiency is required; Must be proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup or 3D MAX, Photoshop, MS project or Primavera, Power Point and basic office suite.
LEED certification preferred.
Has presentation skills and is able liaise with the client the design intent and/or development.
Possesses basic managerial skills.
Is able to make design decisions and supervise.
Is methodical and has worked within a quality management system.
Able to communicate his ideas effectively to the team and other disciplines.
Productive in a team environment and work well with others.
Flexible and adaptable to different types of projects or teams.
Has knowledge on space planning, furniture planning, RCP information, floor patterning, elevations and sections.
Knows how to develop an enlarged plan, tag and dimension plans, sections and elevations.
Is able to sketch or model a space in 3D and apply materials and light.
