Bumble is looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to help scale Bumble’s brand as the leading relationships and social networking app in India.
Reporting to the Associate Director, Marketing -India and South East Asia, you will be responsible for spearheading the development and execution of large-scale integrated consumer campaigns and drive growth for Bumble pan India.
You should be passionate and excited about Bumble’s mission and driving deep cultural change in India. The ideal candidate will have experience in strategic consumer marketing, spearheading multi-channel campaigns and programs within the consumer tech industry. The candidate will be expected to apply analytical rigour along with deep understanding of consumer and market dynamics to deliver effective marketing plans that truly move the needle.
The role will be remote based but headquartered from the Mumbai office, meaning candidates should be easily and readily available to travel to Mumbai.
Plan and deliver high-impact consumer campaigns spanning creative conceptualisation, media planning, partnerships, product marketing and influencer marketing that ladders up to business objectives and goals.
Be the day to day lead for the India market. Responsible for owning the development of annual plans that drive business growth and brand health.
Well-rounded marketing experience across all touchpoints including but not limited to creative development, media, social and influencers.
Comfortable with insight mining and translating cultural trends which resonate with the target audience and converting them into ownable campaigns.
Own the media strategy and planning process for all campaigns. Have strong familiarity with traditional ATL channels as well as digital media.
Craft and deploy influencer campaigns and experiential marketing tactics aligned with broader marketing strategy.
Challenge the status quo and balance long-term strategic and tactical priorities for the region.
Drive market performance through marketing calendar ownership. Develop measurable KPIs and track the performance, campaign optimization and identify new growth opportunity areas.
Drive alignment with cross-functional teams and external agencies to deliver integrated marketing campaigns. Cross-functional teams include Product Marketing, Research, Communications, Media, Creative,, Growth Marketing, Marketing Operations and Finance.
Lead robust channel experimentation with the aim of driving growth and efficiency.
Effectively communicate strategic plans to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Meticulous budget management and operations precision.
Empathetic and inspiring people manager to junior team members.
Required experience:
Experience spearheading integrated brand and growth marketing efforts – you’ve led strategic integrated marketing campaigns through the application of research/insights, brand strategy, brand positioning, channel & comms planning, and campaign measurement & reporting.
Precise and insightful operator who can execute against plans and drive business growth.
Consumer insight mining and analytical capabilities.
Leadership and executive presence.
Exceptional communicator with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
Extensive experience in managing and executing large scale, cross-functional consumer campaigns for a brand or agency.
Robust agency management experience.
Experience in driving customer acquisition and multi-channel media strategy.
Multi-tasking capabilities with executional excellence.
Strong budget and project management skills.
Capability in quantitative data analysis; past performance in uncovering insights as well as areas of opportunity for business growth.
Experience in people management in a cross-functional marketing team
Commitment to high creative standards and pushing for constant innovation.
Quantitative and analytical background, with excellent planning skills. The ability to bring strong business understanding and financial insight to track/lead marketing against concrete business objectives but balanced with right brain thinking. Someone who can flip into creative development as easily as interpreting data.
