Description : The Sr. Software Engineer (AI/ML Ops) is primarily responsible for building and scaling a machine learning operations system to power Cotiviti’s AI/ML platforms. You’ll have the opportunity to integrate machine learning libraries and operational frameworks into an end-to-end environment and work with AI/ML developers/data scientists to solve complex problems and create unique solutions. You’ll also help to build a machine learning Operations pipeline to support development, experimentation, continuous integration, continuous delivery, verification/validation and monitoring of AI/ML models. We’d also like you to continuously evaluate the latest packages and frameworks while creating documentation and best practices to share with the AI/ML community.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and other MLOps Engineers to solve complex problems and create unique solutions for MLOps.
Good understanding of machine learning fundamentals and familiarity with Machine Learning Development Lifecycle.
Bring good knowledge on cloud/DevOps for Analytics Use Cases.
Develop/Support end-to-end MLOps pipelines based on an in-depth understanding of cloud platforms, AI lifecycle, and business problems to ensure analytics solutions are delivered efficiently, predictably, and sustainably.
Builds pipelines that shorten development cycles for our software and AI/ML systems:
Build and automate our AI/ML workstream from data analysis, experimentation, operationalization, model training, model inference, model evaluation, and model tuning to visualization (includes versioning, compliance, and validation).
Improve and maintain our automated CI/CD pipeline.
Execute best practices in version control and continuous integration/delivery.
Work well in a fast-paced cross-functional environment.
This individual would be working at the intersection of MLOps, Software Engineering and Data Science.
Key Requirements:
At least 5 years of Industry experience with projects around Data Engineering or Data Warehousing.
At least 3 years of experience in Data Science / ML / AI and operationalization of models.
At least 3 years hands-on with Python. Strong Python programming experience, with demonstrated experience in package development, deploying software in a production setting, debugging.
At least 3 years hands-on experience with SQL/Spark SQL and can write complex queries with ease.
At least 3 years of experience in orchestrating ML Jobs on Oozie/Airflow/KubeFlow, Step Functions, etc.
At least 3 years of experience in implementing end-to-end machine learning life cycle on premise (Hadoop) or cloud (preferably in AWS).
At least 3 year of experience in Bigdata Technologies specifically on HDFS, Spark, and Hive.
At least 2 years of experience in a Production environment.
Strong in data/feature engineering and distributed processing with PySpark, etc.
Good understanding of AI engineering and MLOps concepts.
Demonstrable experience with ML Life-cycle management tools, data version and model version control and implementing MLOps.
Experience with Machine learning frameworks, libraries, and agile environments.
Experience in deploying machine learning solutions using DevOps principles.
Experience with version control tools such as Git, Bitbucket, etc.
Experience with SQL and relational databases.
Fluency with Programming and Scripting, such as Java, Python, Shell/Bash.
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
Desired Skills/Qualifications:
Experience in DataRobot platform for operating and monitoring models.
Experience in data visualization and exploration, familiarity with Tableau/Trino-Superset, AI services and app development is a plus.
Experience in AWS services Sagemaker, EC2, S3, EMR, Lambda Functions, Cloudwatch, etc.
Experience in one or more of Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes (including distributions, Openshift), and other DevOps tools.
