The post holder will provide day to day technical support on all planned and reactive SHEQ related matters within their area of responsibility and support other team members and business functions across all regions as required.Key elements of the role include: Providing advice, support, training and guidance to the business on all SHEQ and Facilities Management (FM) related topics.Review and update of SHEQ and FM related processes, procedures, and management system documentation.Lead and facilitate SHEQ related working groups, meetings and forums.Create, implement and deliver SHEQ and FM action and improvement plans.Conduct investigations and monitoring audits/inspections and produce formal reports.The SHEQ Manager role is critical to the overall success of the SHEQ team and SHEQ compliance of the wider business ensuring that regulatory and relevant standards and requirements are identified, understood and consistently applied as a minimum across the Group.The post holder will focus on their regional area in the South of the UK whilst working closely with the SHEQ North and SHEQ Systems Manager to provide national guidance on their specialist topics and ensure consistency and best practice across the team. The role will require coordination and engagement across the business with the full range of functions and with clients, contractors, accreditation auditors and regulators where required.
