As part of Consumer Engagement Services, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership to our Mobile Engineering team and defining the future engineering direction of our native mobile products. The ideal candidate for this position is someone that is passionate about building teams that focus on delivering the best possible customer experience with performance, scalability, security, and efficiency in mind. We are looking for someone that excels at partnering across various internal teams and departments, including Engineering, Product, QA, Design and Operations.
Primary Responsibilities & Objectives
Contribute to IMT’s Mobile development team in moving our leading mortgage software solutions to the next level
Analyze, design, develop and unit test mobile applications with high quality
Excel in mobile end-to-end engineering , providing technical expertise throughout all phases including collaboration with Apple App Store and Google Play Store
Use state-of-the-art front-end development technologies and best practices to deliver your implementation
Collaborate closely with groups in and outside the development team (eg. QA, Product Management, UX, Tech Pub) to achieve high quality, predictable results
Qualifications, Skills and Education
6+ years of progressive technical leadership experience at mission critical or enterprise technical positions
At least 5 years of mobile application development experience with expertise in building iOS and Android applications with consumer orientation.
Experience with cloud application development using ReactNative, RestAPIs, and web application frameworks. iOS and Android native development a plus.
Strong understanding of security issues with respect to encryption and access rights.
Strong experience with Mobile Application deployment management and also experience managing Apple and Android App store deployments.
Think and act strategically, staying abreast of industry trends and modern engineering tools and technologies
Ability to design, develop and analyze diverse solutions based on evolving requirements
Clear, strategic thinker with a vision who can also be hands-on in driving execution
Strong communication skills and successful history of leading via influence
A BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
A person interested in this job should be technically savvy, communicate effectively and have a strong curiosity for emerging technologies
