Description : Responsible for the receipt, storage, rotation and issues of all food and stock items used within the Catering Department
Undertake clerical duties connected with the post and maintain accurate records of stock levels and movements
Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations and delivery dates for goods as required
Ensure goods received comply with appropriate purchasing specifications
Place orders as authorised with suppliers
Receive, check, sign for and put away in designated stores areas, ensuring correct stock rotation, all goods delivered from suppliers including checking and recording temperatures where appropriate

Ensure goods received comply with appropriate purchasing specifications
Prepare orders as required taking into account stock and projected usage levels .
Place orders as authorised with suppliers
Receive, check, sign for and put away in designated stores areas, ensuring correct stock rotation, all goods delivered from suppliers including checking and recording temperatures where appropriate
Order dry goods from central supplies department as necessary, based on current stock holding and future requirement
