About the Role
Kingston House is a friendly, homely residential service in Leigh-on-Sea, near Southend for people with learning disabilities, autism, mental health issues and complex needs. Some of the people who live at Kingston may also express behaviours which others might find challenging.
On the pleasant Essex Coast, Kingston House has nice bedrooms across three floors and has a nurturing, caring home from home environment. The team at Kingston House take a person centred approach to support individual’s bespoke needs.
You’ll be responsible for supporting an inclusive lifestyle within the community as individuals attend local colleges or day trips out. Develop greater independence and daily living skills by assisting with the upkeep of the service, preparing meals, shopping and domestic duties. Providing help with personal care such as washing, bathing and dressing whilst working across various shift patterns including early, late and weekend or night shifts. Full time and part time positions are available.
