Description : Technical Instructor (Urgent Care & Reablement & Hospital Discharge Pathway) – Band 3
Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust are able to offer an exciting opportunity for a Band 3 Technical Instructor to join the Urgent Care & Reablement or Hospital Discharge Team, providing assessment and intervention to patients with a GP registered in Coventry.
The post holder will work within the Out of Hospital services supporting the multi-disciplinary community team in the care and management of patients with a variety of health/therapeutic related needs who require nursing/therapy intervention.

The post is a development opportunity, where you will be working closely with Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapists & Assistant Practitioners, to provide therapy programmes / interventions for a delegated caseload, to support high standards of patient care and service delivery aligned to the Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust Visions and Values.
Subject to Parliamentary approval, from 1st April 2022 all NHS workers in England who have face to face contact with patients must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Only those with specified medical exemptions will be excluded from this requirement. Please consider this mandatory requirement when applying for this position.
The team has strong leadership with experienced clinical staff that will support your development through Value Based Appraisal, joint visits, one to one meetings, and supervision.
You will be an integral part of a friendly and supportive team working with people in their own homes as well as within bedded units. This post will offer you with opportunity to consolidate and develop existing clinical skills and knowledge in Physiotherapy & Occupational Therapy.

An inclusive team approach and excellent communication skills are essential. You will be expected to work independently and effectively to ensure safe and effective management of patients in the community. You will be able to prioritize your workload and time effectively to support an integrated approach.
They will participate as directed by the registered professional/senior clinicians in the implementation and evaluation of delegated care/enablement programmes of care to individuals, their families and carers in their place of residence, clinics or other community setting.
Responsibility for meeting the requirements of Trust Policies and Procedures lies with the individual, as is the responsibility for managing resources within span of control, and promoting teamwork with personnel of own and other agencies
The successful candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills to enable you to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team, and be flexible to meet the needs of a 7 day (8am-8pm) service.
