Description : Due to continued growth, Newby Leisure are looking to appoint a Warehouse / Despatch Supervisor to support our Busy Function on a permanent basis.The position will be Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm with occasional overtime required.Newby Leisure design and manufacture playgrounds and timber play resources for schools across the UK & Europe. Established over 25-years ago, the company continually goes from strength to strength, year on year. This role offers the opportunity to grow within the business for the right candidate.You will be joining a dedicated and hardworking team, so the ambition to succeed is paramount and essential for this role.About the RoleAs a Warehouse/Despatch Supervisor, you’ll play a crucial role in our Warehouse ensuring our operations run smoothly and safely.This is a hands-on role covering a wide range of warehouse management and distribution.You will be responsible for the hands-on management of maximising customer satisfaction, striving to achieve optimum productivity and maintaining stock accuracy and controlling inventory.What you’ll be doing: · Driving a strong team work ethic· Delivering KPIS and managing performance· Controlling and Managing Inventory· Managing inbound deliveries· Maintaining health and safety standards· Resource planning to maximise efficiency· Responsible for the day-to-day management and leadership of warehouse operatives· Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers· Daily Forklift operating & quality control checks· Banding products ready for despatch· Any additional duties as required to meet the needs of the businessWhat we are looking for:· Professional, proactive, friendly with a can-do attitude· Warehouse management experience, managing staff in a busy and demanding environment· Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy· Proven ability to multitask and prioritise consistently under pressure· Good problem-solving skills· Forklift license (Desired)· IT LiterateSalary dependent on experience and to be discussed at interview.
